OGP WEEK 2018: Summary of Achievements So Far

The Open Government Partnership week which was held from 7th May to 11th May, 2018 was an opportunity to showcase the achievements of the OGP Process in Nigeria under the four thematic areas of Fiscal Transparency, Anti-Corruption, Access to Information and Citizens Engagement.

FISCAL TRANSPARENCY (all about opening the door for ordinary Nigerians to participate in the entire budget cycle)
  • Open Budgeting: Here OGP, working with the budget office, has developed the iMonitor Platform which allows you and me to report on how projects are being implemented in our communities.
  • Open Contracting: Here OGP has made a toll free number and ask questions and report about contract implementation. The number is 08002833744.
